I was inspired to write this poem, so I thought I’d put it in place of a blog post:
The Experience of I
Who am “I”?
“I” am.
“I” know that “I” am.
“I” don’t know all that “I” am.
“I” know that too.
“I” want to know all that “I” am.
“I” do not want to “be” alone.
“I” do not know “you”.
“I” want to know “you”.
“I” want to know what “you” know and what “you” want to know.
“I” want “you” to know who “I” am.
Do “you” want to “be” alone?
Do “you” want to “be” with me?
“I” want to “be” with “you”.
But,
“I” know that “you” and “I” will die.
If “I” die, “I” will not “be”.
“I” do not want to die.
“I” do not want “you” to die.
If “you” die, “I” will “be” alone.
Why?
Where did “I” come from?
“I” came from another “I”.
Where did they get their “I” from?
Is there an Ultimate “I”; the Source and Sustenance of “I”
Are “You” that “I”?
If “You” are, then “I” was made to be with “You” and “You” know who “I” am.
“You” want to be with me and “You” came to me.
“I” will know who “I” am the more “I” am with “You”.
“I” want to be with “You”.
In “You”, “I” will “be”.
Because of “You”, “I” can know…
Who “I” am.
